Installing Wanna Learn

Three steps, just once.

Outside the Play Store, Android asks one more question. Here's exactly what you'll see.

  1. Download the file

    The size is written on the button. On 3G, allow a few minutes — use Wi-Fi if you can. Then tap “Open”.

  2. Allow the install

    Your phone mentions an “unknown source”: that's normal outside the Play Store. Turn on “Allow from this source”, go back, then tap “Install”. You only do this once.

  3. Open Wanna Learn

    The icon appears with your other apps. Downloaded lessons then work offline.

No file

Add an app to your home screen.

For Wanna Love and Miaraka, in Chrome on Android. On iPhone: Safari, Share, “Add to Home Screen”.

  1. Open the app in Chrome

    Go to the app's address, then tap the three dots ⋮ at the top right.

  2. “Add to Home screen”

    Depending on your version of Chrome, the line may also say “Install app”. It's the same thing.

  3. Confirm “Add”

    The icon joins your apps. It opens full screen, with no address bar, like an installed app.

Before you install.

Why not the Play Store?
Our apps are distributed directly, from wanna-group.com: you download the file here, and the app itself tells you about new versions. The only difference for you is the permission in step 2, given once.
Is it safe?
The file comes from wanna-group.com and nowhere else. To check it wasn't altered on the way, compare its SHA-256 fingerprint with the one shown under the button. Never install a “Wanna” APK received any other way.
How much data do updates use?
The size of each new version is shown before it downloads: you know what it costs before you say yes. If you can, do it on Wi-Fi.
And on iPhone?
